The 2023 vintage thrived under a long, cool growing season, tempered by morning marine layers, coaxing out remarkable depth and character. Hand-harvested and artfully blended, this wine reflects our relentless pursuit of terroir-driven excellence. Early buzz from Wine Spectator calls it a triumph of range and precision, with producers (us included) already talking about the high quality wines.
TASTING NOTES
Our mission is to bottle the best of Napa and its neighboring AVAs, and the 2023 Chemist delivers. This refined red blend opens with an alluring nose of lavender, dark cocoa, and ripe blackberry, unfolding into a deep, layered palate of blue and black fruits, velvety cocoa, and powder-fine tannins. It’s sophisticated yet vibrant, with a poised elegance and a juicy, mouthwatering finish that lingers with energy and grace.
