VINEYARD
We craft our Suisun Valley Sauvignon Blanc from grapes grown in the Lambert vineyard, a small, meticulously maintained family vineyard just a stone throw from the Napa/Suisun line. This location is more protected from the influence of the Pacific Ocean and offers a slightly warmer climate that brings out the tropical notes. After foot treading the grapes upon arrival at the winery, we let it cold soak for several days before pressing and then barrel ferment the wine in neutral French barrels.
TASTING NOTES
On the nose there are hints of baked pears, baking spices and stones and is a medium to full body wine with a richness in the mid-palate. The palate is creamy with flavors of citrus, honeysuckle, tropical flavors and nuts, finishing dry with a long lingering finish. Made in a more Bordeaux style by fermenting in neutral French barrels, it adds a great texture to the wine.
